Further to the notice released on Thursday 12th June 2014, regarding the Deletion of Temporary lines resulting from Rights Issue (ex on 9th June 2014), FTSE announces that the below treatment has now been confirmed. 10th June 2014 – 20th June 2014 (inclusive) The Index will contain the three lines for BMPS (ordinary, rights and cash dummy). The rights and ordinary line will be based on market prices, and the cash dummy will be fixed at 1 euro. 23rd June 2014 – 27th June 2014 (inclusive) The Index will contain the three lines for BMPS (ordinary, rights and cash dummy). The ordinary line will be based on market price and the cash dummy will be fixed at 1 euro. As the last day of trading in the rights line is expected to be 20th June 2014 it will have a fixed price (based on 20th June 2014 last trade price of the rights line) between 23rd June 2014 through to just before close 27th June 2014. The closing index value will be based on the treatment below. 27th June 2014 – close of business Immediately before the close of the Italian stock market the rights line will be updated to reflect the theoretical value of the rights based on the ordinary line close price on 27th June 2014. The updated price on the rights line will be reflected within the closing index value on 27th June 2014. Therefore on 27th June 2014, the theoretical value assigned to the rights line (when adjusted by the issue terms so that is expressed on a per share basis) plus the value of the cash dummy (1 euro) will be equal to the closing price of the ordinary line. 27th June 2014 – after close of business, effective from the open of 30th June 2014 The cash dummy line and the rights line will be removed from the Index and at the same time the ordinary shares will be increased to 5,108,190,155 shares (based on the closing price of 27th June 2014). There will be no change to the index divisor.

Facendo seguito al comunicato diffuso il 12 giugno 2014 relativo alla cancellazione delle linee temporanee introdotte per la gestione dell’aumento di capitale Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (ex-date 9 giugno 2014), FTSE annuncia che le disposizioni seguenti sono confermate. 10 giugno – 20 giugno 2014 (compreso) L’indice contiene tre linee per BMPS (azione ordinaria, diritti, dummy line). Azione ordinaria e diritti sono basati sui prezzi di mercato, la dummy line rimane fissa a 1 euro. 23 giugno – 27 giugno 2014 (compreso) L’indice contiene tre linee per BMPS (azione ordinaria, diritti, dummy line). L’azione ordinaria è basata sui prezzi di mercato, la dummy line rimane fissa a 1 euro. Dal momento che l’ultimo giorno di negoziazione in Borsa dei diritti è venerdì 20 giugno, dal 23 giugno a prima della chiusura del 27 giugno 2014 la linea dei diritti avrà una valorizzazione fissa basata sull’ultimo prezzo di mercato del 20 giugno. Il valore di chiusura dell’indice sarà basato sul trattamento descritto di seguito. 27 giugno 2014 – chiusura Immediatamente prima della chiusura del 27 giugno 2014 la linea dei diritti sarà aggiornata in modo da riflettere il valore teorico basato sul prezzo di chiusura dell’azione ordinaria in pari data. Il prezzo aggiornato dei diritti sarà riflesso nel valore di chiusura degli indici del 27 giugno 2014. Pertanto, in tale data, il valore teorico assegnato alla linea dei diritti (una volta aggiustato secondo i termini dell'operazione in modo da essere espresso con riferimento a una singola nuova azione) più il valore della dummy line (euro 1) sarà uguale al prezzo di chiusura dell'azione ordinaria. 27 giugno 2014 – dopo la chiusura del mercato,situazione effettiva all’apertura del 30 giugno 2014 La dummy line e la linea dei diritti sono escluse dagli indici, mentre il numero di azioni ordinarie aumenta a 5.108.190.155, valorizzate al prezzo di chiusura del 27 giugno.
