Following the court sanctioning the scheme of arrangement in relation to the merger of Dixons Retail PLC (UK) with Carphone Warehouse Group PLC (UK), FTSE announces the following changes:

Please Note: Carphone Warehouse Group will be renamed to Dixons Carphone.
It is expected that Dixons Retail PLC will have a last Dealing Date on Tuesday 5 August 2014 and will be cancelled from trading on Thursday 7 August 2014. Therefore, it will remain in the index on Thursday 6 August 2014 based on it's last trade price.
As the last day of trading in Dixons Retail is expected to be Tuesday 5 August 2014, in order to avoid index tracking error, the new Dixons Carphone shares resulting from the scheme will be added at the equivalent offer terms value to Dixons Retail last traded price.
