FTSE Gold Mines Index Ground Rules - Review Frequency

The FTSE Policy Group has approved a change in the index review frequency of the FTSE Gold Mines Index.

The index review will change from being carried out on a quarterly basis to a semi-annual basis.

FTSE will carry out the semi-annual review in June and December and any resulting constituent changes will be implemented after the close of business on the third Friday in June and December.

The next FTSE Gold Mines Index semi-annual review will take place in December 2008.
