In accordance with the proposed share swap between Inventec Appliances (Taiwan non-constituent) and Inventec (Taiwan constituent), FTSE and TWSE announce the following:

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE TWSE Taiwan Mid-Cap 100 Index	Inventec (Taiwan, 6459930) will remain in the index with an increased shares in issue total of 3,405,896,340 and unchanged investability weighting of 100%.	29 September 2011
FTSE TWSE Taiwan Technology Index	Inventec will remain in the index as detailed above.	29 September 2011

Please note that the last trading day of Inventec Appliances is expected to be Wednesday, 28th September 2011.
