Following the initial public offer for Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group (Hong Kong) and subject to the listing commencing on 15 December 2011, FTSE announces the following changes:

Please note that as the close of the first day trading for Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group (Hong Kong) occurs on Thursday 15th December, a day before the December quarterly rebalance changes being implemented (i.e. close of the 16th December), therefore FTSE will include Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group (Hong Kong) at the same time as the effective date of the rebalance changes, i.e. after the close of business on Friday, 16th December 2011 (on Monday, 19th December 2011).

INDEX	CHANGE	EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE Asian Retail Index	Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group (Hong Kong, B4R39F7, 01929) will be added to the index with a shares in issue total of 10,000,000,000 and an investability weighting of 11%. Esprit Holdings (Hong Kong, 6321642, 00330) will be deleted from the index.	19 December 2011
