China Development Financial Holding (Taiwan): Acquisition of KGI Securities (Taiwan)
Changes In FTSE TWSE Taiwan Index Series

The cash and stock tender offer for KGI Securities (Taiwan non-constituent) by China Development Financial Holding (Taiwan constituent) has now completed and the final acceptance level of the tender offer has reached 81.7%. China Development Financial Holding will acquire the remaining shares through share swap or other transactions to make KGI Securities a wholly-owned subsidiary. According to the Rules Governing Securities trading on Taiwan GeiTai Securities Market, KGI Securities shall cease the trading of its shares subject to the regulatory approval. As a result of the above, FTSE and TWSE announce the following changes:

* Please note the share increase is based on the full share offer terms of 1.2 China Development Financial Holding new shares for every 1 KGI Securities share held.
